These Accommodation Partner Terms (“Terms”) govern your use of the Contractors Stay-Away platform as a host, owner or accommodation partner (“you”, “your”).
By registering as a host and listing one or more properties on Contractors Stay-Away, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1.1 Our role
“Contractors Stay-Away” (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom. We operate an online platform that allows you to list contractor-friendly accommodation and receive bookings from guests (usually businesses booking stays for their teams). We:
We do not own or manage your property. We are not a party to the accommodation contract between you and the guest.
1.2 Your role

We may edit or remove photos or content that we reasonably consider misleading, low-quality or inappropriate.
3.3 Content licence
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt and display your property content (including photos and descriptions) on our platform and in marketing materials for the promotion of Contractors Stay-Away while your property is listed and for a reasonable period afterwards.
You warrant that you have the rights necessary to grant this licence.
4.1 Setting prices
You are responsible for setting:
You must clearly disclose all mandatory charges in your listing so that guests can see the full price before booking.
4.2 Availability
You must keep your property’s availability up to date. If you use multiple platforms, you are responsible for managing calendars to avoid double bookings.
4.3 Taxes
You are solely responsible for:
We do not provide tax advice. We may, where required by law, withhold or report amounts to tax authorities.
5.1 Bookings
A booking made via Contractors Stay-Away is binding once:
You must honour all confirmed bookings except where cancellation is permitted under your chosen cancellation policy, force majeure (see below) or other serious and justified reasons.
5.2 Your cancellation and refund policy
You can choose a cancellation/refund policy for your listings (for example, flexible, moderate, strict or non-refundable) within the options we make available.

5.3 Overbookings and relocation
If you are unable to provide the booked accommodation (e.g. due to an overbooking or property issue), you must:
Repeated overbookings may result in penalties, lower visibility or suspension of your listings.
6.1 Payments

Hosts currently pay a £100 annual fee before listing a property. Payment gives access to list properties for 365 days. We do not currently charge hosts a separate commission on bookings.
Customers are charged a 5% service fee on each booking. The fee is included in the total price displayed before they confirm the booking.

We will provide statements or invoices detailing:

You are the primary point of contact for property-related complaints during and after a stay. You must handle complaints promptly and professionally.

You must not share guest data with third parties except where necessary for the stay and compliant with law.
8.2 Messaging on the platform
You must use the platform’s messaging tools for key pre- and post-booking communication where possible. You must not send:
We may monitor messaging for security, fraud prevention and support purposes.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your property and operations comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including (as applicable):
We strongly recommend that you maintain appropriate public liability and property insurance that covers short-term stays.
These Terms apply for as long as you maintain an active host account or listings on Contractors Stay-Away.
We may suspend or terminate your account, remove listings or restrict access where:
You may deactivate your account at any time via your dashboard or by contacting us at ku.oc.yawayatssrotcartnoc@tcatnoc.
Termination will not affect rights and obligations already accrued (e.g. fees due or bookings already made).
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claims, damages, losses or expenses arising from:
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on our website with the “Last updated” date. Where changes are material, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you (for example by email or dashboard notification).
By continuing to list properties or accept bookings after the updated Terms take effect, you agree to be bound by them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
